Sparring Competition Information
What You Need To Know
Our Tournament currently uses rules based on the United States TaeKwon-Do Federation Tournament Rules and Regulations Manual.
We use "Continuous Sparring" rather than a "point-stop" system. See the Sparring Rules page for details of how this system works so you will be prepared.
In the sparring section of this website, you will find information that you must be aware of when either competing or officiating at this event. This information is taught in much more depth to referees who have completed a formal Referee Course and have been certified as "Class A", "Class B", and "Class C" referees. Black Belts with these certifications may be preferred when it comes to ring assignments and duties at the discretion of the Tournament Director.
